Mar 23, 2014 · Internet Explorer dates back to 1995. Microsoft Excel was released in 1985 (as a successor to Multiplan which is a few years older). By 1995 MS Excel was in its version 5 or 6 already IIRC. I remember my father using versions 3 and 4 in the early 90s.

Dec 12, 2022 · I have created a report for work in excel (microsoft 365) and have a header which has our company logo. I have sized it at 10% and adjusted the top margin on each page so the text starts underneath. When i email the report to my boss, on his computer the logo is showing as size 15% and is cut off by the margin.

Nov 4, 2015 · Except OneNote (N), InfoPath (I), and SharePoint (S) did not exist when they started using the stylized XL logo for excel. You could not have spelled Penis with the apps that were available in the early Office suites. So it makes for a funny pic now, but not accurate at all.

Feb 10, 2024 · Personally I prefer to use a dark, but NOT black image, so I can still see any black text, then I manually use Cell Styles and Table Styles to format anything I need to. Honestly, setting up custom cell styles for input and output, and a non-crap-looking Table Style (unlike the defaults) were the best things I ever did in Excel.

May 4, 2021 · I have a column of auto-populated ticker symbols. Is there a way that I can use an API (maybe Clearbit logo API) to pull the logo for each company based on the ticker? So it would look something like... list of tickers in column A, small company logo in column B. Thanks!

If I catch it fast enough I hit ESC which will stop the access to the printer and then do what I actually wanted.
