Severe Tropical Storm #OfelPH has weakened slightly while moving north-northwestward over the Luzon Strait, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Tropical cyclone Ofel (international name: Usagi) intensified into a severe tropical storm on Tuesday afternoon and is forecast to steadily intensify within three days, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

The center of TS "Ofel" was estimated based on all available data at 950 km east of southeastern Luzon (13.8°N, 133.0°E).
