A Colorado man arrested in Texas for allegedly firebombing a Tesla dealership in Colorado is facing federal charges in addition to state charges.

Federal prosecutors have indicted a 24-year-old Fort Collins man on firearms and arson charges in connection with a March 7 incident at a Tesla dealership in Loveland. Cooper Jo Frederick, who was previously arrested by Loveland police and charged with multiple felonies under Colorado state law,

At least 17 Tesla cars were destroyed after a fire broke out at a dealership on the outskirts of Rome on Monday morning, according to Italian fire officials. No one was at the dealership when the fire broke out and no injuries have been reported.

Cooper Jo Frederick, 24, was arrested shortly after the March 7 attack on the Colorado dealership. Authorities say Frederick allegedly set fire to several Tesla vehicles after throwing a “destructive device” at the dealership’s main building, according to court records.
