A woman was shot and killed in eastern Sacramento, according to police, one of three fatal shootings in the city on Saturday. According to Sacramento Police Department spokesman Officer Anthony Gamble, officers were called just before 5 p.m. to the 3100 block of Occidental Drive in the College/Glen neighborhood for reports of a shooting.

One person died and another person was injured in an overnight shooting in midtown Sacramento, police said Saturday.
