Mikal Bridges has borne the brunt of fan frustration throughout his debut season with the New York Knicks. The three-and-d forward cost the franchise a small fortune. As such, he entered the season with high expectations on his shoulders.

The ball bounced off the rim and fell into the waiting hands of OG Anunoby, who then went up and dunked the ball with both hands. A day that began with coach Tom Thibodeau marveling at Anunoby's defense ended with the swingman helping to carry the Knicks to a 110-93 win over the Trail Blazers Sunday night at the Garden.

The wings reinforced why the Knicks have kept afloat without Jalen Brunson. OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges carried a second-half comeback Sunday evening for the Knicks, who toppled the Blazers 110-93 after trailing by 14 in the third quarter as MSG celebrated Clyde Frazier’s 80th birthday.
