The small twister might have gone unreported by the media at-large except for news about the location. Two years prior -- nearly to the day -- the town of Rolling Fork, Mississippi, was devastated by a violent EF4 tornado which killed 17 people under cover of darkness.

A dangerous tornado outbreak which started on Friday evening continued into the first half of the weekend with nearly 2 dozen deaths across the nation's heartland and South.

A tornado skirted along the north side of town, with winds of at least 95 to 110 mph. It was the only twister to snake through the skies over the weekend, falling almost two years to the date since the last time Rolling Fork was hit.
