Each time the Mega Millions jackpot is won, the new starting jackpot will be worth $50 million, up from the previous starting prize of $20 million.
Changes are coming to Mega Millions beginning this weekend. Starting April 5th, the price for a Mega Millions ticket is going up to $5 per play.
The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has climbed to an estimated $29 million, with a cash option of $13.5 million. The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers after the drawing.
