The impact area where a medical transportation plane crashed in Philadelphia last week will hopefully reopen on Wednesday, according to city officials. Adam Thiel, the city’s managing director, said during a news briefing Tuesday that the National Transportation Safety Board has finished its work at the site.

The Roosevelt Mall will reopen Wednesday afternoon, days after a medical jet crashed near Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue and killed seven people. Later tonight, the city will hold a town hall meeting for residents impacted by the crash.
