A man from Danville just got lucky after he won $25,000 a year for life on the Kentucky Lottery’s Lucky For Life game. The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, told lottery officials he started playing Lucky For Life 12 years ago after seeing a commercial on TV and has been playing Kentucky Lottery games on and off ever since.

Officials with the Kentucky Lottery reported that a Danville man has won $25,000 a year for life after playing the Kentucky Lottery's Lucky For Life.

The man, from Danville, won the prize playing the Kentucky Lottery's Lucky For Life game. He told lottery officials he started playing the game 12 years ago after seeing a commercial for it. The man purchased his ticket from the Five Star on Jan 30, finding out he won the $25,000 for life prize the day after.

I couldn’t believe it when I saw $500,000 show up on the screen,” he said. “I was shocked. I felt truly lucky for life.” The man purchased the $10 ticket for five sets of numbers at the Five Star on Denmark Drive in Danville for the Jan.
