Some people on Reddit claim Apple needed to fully replace their M4 iPad Pros after iPadOS 18 failed to install.

Apple recently held its yearly iPhone event, where it introduced the world to the iPhone 16. Its next important product family, the Mac lineup, is also slated for an update sometime this fall. According to Mark Gurman at Bloomberg,

Reddit user “Lisegot” says the iOS 18 update bricked his 11-inch M4 iPad Pro. He immediately took off work to go to the Apple Store for a replacement. The Apple Store did not have his model in stock, so he had to wait 5 to 7 days for a replacement.
