HPD said they responded to reports of an armed male in the area of Dole Middle School and Kaʻewai Elementary but, according to a later social media post, did not find firearms or weapons.

According to HPD, Officers responded to a man in the area of Dole Middle School. Personnel from the Department of Education’s Safety, Security and Emergency Preparedness Branch also responded.
