Sanders, 23, is considered the second-best quarterback available in the 2025 NFL Draft, behind presumptive No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward. While most evaluators expect Sanders to be off the board by the time Pittsburgh picks at No. 21, the team is considering all its options with its depth chart in flux.

As rumors continue to swirl about Aaron Rodgers potentially joining the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason, the AFC North team is reportedly bringing in Shedeur Sanders for a visit as it looks ahead to the 2025 NFL draft.

Even with the Steelers awaiting an Aaron Rodgers decision, this is where Sanders comes in. Pittsburgh lost both Wilson and Fields in free agency, and have just Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson on the depth chart. The Steelers can bring in Sanders and see how he fits into their system in case they do want to trade up and draft him.
