According to a report from HoopsWire, the Suns could potentially let go of head coach Mike Budenholzer. This is a move that would be done to appease both stars Devin Booker and Kevin Durant. Phoenix is currently 31-37 under coach Bud, who is in his first year with the team.
Durant reportedly wasn't too happy with not being informed about the talks until later in the process, and all signs heavily point to a split between the star forward and Phoenix once their season eventually ends.
Per the league's latest injury report, former three-time All-Star Suns guard Bradley Beal remains on the shelf with a strained left hamstring. Two-way players Jalen Bridges and TyTy Washington are with the Suns' NBAGL affiliate club in Tempe, the Valley Suns.
Mike Budenholzer deflected a question regarding his job security with the Suns as their next head coach next season.
