Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby was out momentarily in the loss to the New Jersey Devils and now there are definite doubts about his status for Friday's key NHL game against the New York Rangers.

Crosby collided awkwardly with Devils defenseman Luke Hughes and forward Erik Haula, appearing to injure his left arm before heading to the locker room. The Penguins captain was visibly in discomfort as he skated off, but he returned a few minutes later.
