Oklahoma State is hosting a spring finale on April 19, allowing fans to watch the practice in Boone Pickens Stadium. It will include 30-minute fan access periods before and after the practice.

Many programs, including Nebraska, USC, Ohio State, and Texas, have also canceled spring games. Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule is one of the strongest voices against spring games in this new era. He and other coaches believe it's only an opportunity for their players to get poached by other schools or injured.

Gundy also admitted he drew inspiration from Colorado's Deion Sanders, who is currently trying to arrange a spring game against Syracuse. As of right now, the biggest obstacle for either event taking place is the NCAA, who doesn't currently allow teams to practice with another.
