Memphis Grizzlies All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr. left the game in the third quarter on Tuesday night against the Utah Jazz after taking an elbow to the face. Jackson was attempting to block a shot at the rim when he was hit with an incidental elbow and went to the locker room.

Maybe the Memphis Grizzlies had too much rest. At least that's how the game looked in the early going. The Grizzlies' defense struggled against the Utah Jazz in the first quarter and was yielding similar results of the past three games.

The Utah Jazz have now lost three straight games and are 1-9 in their last 10 games. I don’t think there’s been a worse season than this one, though the promise of a top 3 lottery pick remains on the horizon.
