An update on the release of GTA 6 is expected to arrive very soon as Grand Theft Auto fans keep praying for a 2025 launch.

The idea is still that GTA 6 will make it out during Take Two’s next fiscal year, which they have hinted strongly at to investors. That could be a holiday release for 2024, or a spring 2025 release.

A retailer apologized after listing GTA 6 for September 17, 2025, stating the date was a result of an online search.
