“Mufasa: The Lion King” is coming home. The Barry Jenkins-directed epic, which serves as both a prequel and sequel to 2019’s reimagined “The Lion King,” will debut on Disney+ March 26.

“Mufasa: The Lion King” is headed to Disney+ in late March, Dana Walden, co-chairman of Disney Entertainment, announced at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference on Tuesday.
