Brighton signed one striker and loaned out another on the final day of the transfer window on the back of its heaviest ever Premier League defeat. Stefanos Tzimas, a Greece under-21 international, joined from FC Nuremburg on a deal until 2030 — through will remain at the second-tier German team until the end of the season.

Brighton & Hove Albion are set to complete the signing of striker Stefanos Tzimas from FC Nurnberg. A fee of £20million with add-ons has been agreed and the 19-year-old has completed a medical. Brighton’s interest in Tzimas was reported by The Athletic in mid-January.

Brighton have confirmed the signing of Greek forward Stefanos Tzimas from German second-tier club Nurnberg. The 19-year-old will remain with Nurnberg on loan for the remainder of this season, before linking up with the Seagulls in the summer.
