The Boston Celtics are trying to be the first team in about a decade to repeat as NBA champions. After winning the title last year, they felt extremely confident that they were able to do so. Boston decided not to make any moves at the trade deadline to help improve their roster.

Joe Mazzulla’s core rotation consists of nine Celtics players. Nearly half of them were unavailable Tuesday night in Toronto. No Jrue Holiday and Al Horford, who both sat out on the first night of a back-to-back.

After burning the Phoenix Suns in a commanding 127-109 victory on Sunday, the Toronto Raptors will be back on the court for a Tuesday night matchup against the Boston Celtics. The improving Raptors will continue to fight for a late Play-In push. The question is who will be there to aid in that fight.
