Hulu announced that it is developing a series based on Margaret Atwood's 2019 novel "The Testaments," which is a follow-up to "The Handmaid's Tale."

The universe of The Handmaid's Tale is set to grow with a sequel series that begins production next week. Hulu has given the go-ahead for the new show, The Testaments, with production slated to kick off on April 7.
