Viktor Hovland has a bottle of wine headed his way from U.S. Open champion J.J. Spaun. “I got to give him a nice bottle of wine or something, whatever he wants,” Spaun said on The Dan Patrick Show on Tuesday.

The last four major champs will be in the field at the Travelers. Masters winner Scottie Scheffler is paired with U.S. Open champ J.J. Spaun.

Jim “Bones” Mackay is now with NBC Sports as an on-course reporter. But he'll always consider himself a caddie. That much was evident in the final minutes of the U.S.

J.J. Spaun received some help from above on his 64-foot, U.S. Open clinching-putt. Spaun’s caddie, Mark Carens, lost his father last year on Father’s Day. Carens’s father was named Eddie, and he was a presence during their triumph at Oakmont Country Club.
