Steve Angeli is fresh into the transfer portal and has a visit in place Monday for what could be his next college football home.

Former Notre Dame quarterback Steve Angeli is visiting Syracuse, according to On3’s Pete Nakos and Steve Wiltfong. Angeli, who entered the transfer portal this past Thursday as a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility remaining,

Angeli threw for 232 yards and three touchdowns on 15-of-19 passing, proving that he was more than capable of playing at a high level. However, a long-term starting role at Notre Dame never materialized for Angeli.
