On Thursday during his interview with Pat McAfee, Aaron Rodgers did not sound like someone who was fully committed to playing football in the 2025 season. Rodgers, who has been pursued by the Pittsburgh Steelers for the last month, said personal issues need his attention for now over football.

While he might be frustrated with how the team handled the situation, it's a promising sign that Aaron Glenn is able to make these decisions. In the past, Woody Johnson would’ve been the man with the plan, and as a result, the Jets haven't found success because of it.

With Aaron Rodgers undecided about his future in the NFL, the Pittsburgh Steelers could find an open path to give Mike Tomlin another quarterback he reportedly likes.
