Just three months after trading Luka Doncic to the Lakers, the Mavericks will have the chance to draft a new franchise player in top prospect Cooper Flagg.

Which brings us to what fans and talking heads are wondering: would Nico Harrison really trade the No. 1 pick that he just got in the 2025 NBA Draft ... for Giannis Antetokounmpo?

The Dallas Mavericks had less than a 2% chance of winning Monday's NBA Draft Lottery and yet that is exactly what happened.  That wasn't the only surprise at the top of the draft though as San Antonio now has an interesting choice to make at No.

While everyone expects the Mavericks to take Cooper Flagg with the number one pick, it's not a guarantee according to one ESPN NBA analyst.

As of Monday, a No. 77 Mavericks jersey that features the phrase “Fire Nico” across the back has gone up for auction. Bids for the jersey have gone up to $1,500, thanks to a particular feature on one of the numbers. The jersey was signed by none other than Doncic himself.

Dallas won the top pick and right to select a franchise-changing talent, while San Antonio and Philadelphia jumped up to round out the top three.
