Four House Democrats are visiting El Salvador in a bid to support Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a man whom the Trump administration deported to a notorious Salvadoran prison.

The Trump administration told a federal judge that a Maryland man wrongly deported to his native El Salvador was moved more than a week ago out of the controversial CECOT mega prison where he’d been held with other accused gang members.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia was moved from CECOT and is now being detained at a lower security facility in Santa Ana, El Salvador, according to Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen.
