Ford Motor Company terminated an auto-hauling contract with Kansas City-based Jack Cooper, the nation's largest woman-owned, Teamster-affiliated auto hauler.

Of all the great rivalries throughout time, whether it be sports or business, or something else, you'd be hard pressed to find as great a rivalry as Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) and General Motors (NYSE: GM).

Ford is one of the largest carmakers in the world. The company is working to transition toward electric vehicles. Selling cars is a highly competitive and cyclical business. But is this automaker's stock likely to turn investors into millionaires?

Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) stock traded at $9.87. Recently, it traded at $9.76. The price shows that a planned investment of $30 billion in electric vehicles (EVs) and the complete failure of that investment have torn Ford’s value to pieces compared to the broader stock market.

The United Automobile Workers union asked a federal labor regulator to conduct an election at a factory Ford jointly owns with a South Korean battery company.

The UAW is trying to rush BlueOval SK into unionization before our full workforce has the opportunity to make a truly free and informed choice,” a company spokesperson said.

The BlueOval SK plant, owned by a partnership of South Korea's SK On and Ford, is the latest battery battleground for the union.
