Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and his wife, Christen Harper, exclusively told PEOPLE at the Thursday, Feb. 6 NFL Honors that they are expecting their first child together later this year!

While speaking with PEOPLE ahead of the Super Bowl LIX from the SiriusXM set at Media Row, Christen Harper discussed sharing her pregnancy news at the NFL Honors carpet. "It was kind of impromptu," the expectant mom said.

It's already been a big year for Christen, as the influencer will make her fifth consecutive appearance in Sports Illustrated's swimsuit edition.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the 31-year-old model and wife of Lions quarterback Jared Goff celebrated a newly released look from her upcoming spread in the 2025 issue, which was shot at the Round Hill Hotel & Villas in Jamaica.

“Congratulations to Christen and Jared Goff, who will welcome their first baby this offseason!
