What may be the oldest continuously operating ferry in the U.S. is back on the Kentucky River after being shut down for three months for repairs, maintenance and high water.
The Valley View Ferry closed in late November for needed repairs and U.S. Coast Guard inspections of the car ferry service on the Kentucky River, at the end of Tates Creek Road in Fayette County.
