HOUSTON — Free-agent wide receiver Stefon Diggs won’t be returning to the Houston Texans next season, according to multiple reports. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Adam Schefter are both reporting that Diggs, a four-time Pro Bowler, has reached an agreement to join the New England Patriots next season.

According to reports, the two-time All-Pro pass-catcher and the New England Patriots reached an agreement Tuesday on a three-year, $69 million deal that includes $26 million guaranteed. Diggs is expected to make $23 million annually as the Patriots ' new No. 1 receiver for young quarterback Drake Maye.
