The city of Portland is joining a lawsuit with other sanctuary cities challenging the Trump administration’s threat to withhold federal funding from sanctuary cities. The lawsuit will be filed today in United States District Court of Northern California, and is led by the city and county of San Fransisco and by the county of Santa Clara.
