The New England Patriots have matched the Las Vegas Raiders' offer sheet on restricted free agent linebacker Christian Elliss, according to a report from NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The 26-year-old Elliss was tendered at $3.

“The Patriots are planning to match the Raiders’ offer sheet for restricted free-agent LB Christian Elliss, per sources. It is a 2-year deal, locking Elliss in with the Patriots through 2026,” Mike Reiss of ESPN reported.

Elliss played a career-high 513 defensive snaps in 2024, holding his own in his first season with multiple defensive starts.

Former New England Patriots kicker Joey Slye agreed to sign with the Tennessee Titans, agent Glenn Schwartzman told UPI on Monday. Slye's agreement with the Titans is for one year.

The New England Patriots have had some unfortunate luck with their kickers over the past few seasons. The Patriots will now have to have another new kicker for the third straight season after the news broke this morning that their kicker from last season Joey Slye has signed a deal with the Tennessee Titans.
