Police did not release the parent’s name, but she was identified as a Taunton woman in a statement released by the Massachusetts chapter of the National Ice Hockey Officials Association.

The confrontation happened over a boys' varsity hockey game between Mansfield High School and Taunton High School, according to National Ice Hockey Officials' Association spokesperson Mike Ober.
