NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope used its Near-Infrared Spectrograph to capture Neptune’s auroras in stunning detail.

Using Webb's instruments, an international team of scientists determined that this galaxy's redshift is 13.0, meaning it was seen just 330 million years after the big bang. The universe's age is estimated to be a little over 13 billion years.

The Webb Space Telescope has captured a plume of gas and dust streaming from a star in the making, with a spiral galaxy as a stunning backdrop.
