Memphis Grizzlies All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr. left the game in the third quarter on Tuesday night against the Utah Jazz after taking an elbow to the face. Jackson was attempting to block a shot at the rim when he was hit with an incidental elbow and went to the locker room.

Jaren Jackson Jr. suffered an injury to the face and is in the Grizzlies locker room against the Jazz. While the game was pretty much decided in Memphis' favor after the third quarter, it's still a concerning sign for Grizzlies fans to have another player dealing with an injury.

It is getting hard to ignore how the fifth-placed Memphis Grizzlies have been getting bullied off of the boards and out of the paint recently. Unfortunately, Santi Aldama is more of a sharpshooting, backdoor-cutting swingman who cannot be counted on to come up with rebounds or rim protection consistently.
