General manager Brian Gutekunst signed 12 players from the team’s practice squad, seven outside free agents and now Payne to a futures deal, which acts as a placeholder until the start of the 2025 league year in March and places the player on the team’s offseason 90-man roster.

The Packers added seven more players to future contracts, including one who spent time on their 2024 practice squad, after signing 12 on Tuesday.

After signing 12 of their own practice squad players to new deals on Monday, the Green Bay Packers added seven more outside free agents with reserve/futures deals on Tuesday. A futures deal is a placeholder contract until the new league year starts in March.
