Columbia University has announced a series of new policies following President Trump’s revocation of $400 million in federal funding over campus protests.

Columbia University agreed to implement a host of policy changes, including overhauling its rules for protests and conducting an immediate review of its Middle Eastern studies department.

In an unusual move, the government is aiming to legally bind the school to changes as they negotiate over federal funding.
