Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday (March 8, 2025) said that the Delhi cabinet has approved a government scheme Mahila Samriddhi Yojna to give financial assistance of ₹2,500 per month to women.

The scheme aims to provide Rs 2,500 monthly financial assistance to poor women. In the run-up to the Delhi assembly polls, the BJP had promised to transfer Rs 2,500 to women in the national capital.
