As communities in California prepare to rebuild and recover from devastating wildfires, an Idaho-based disaster relief company is standing by to help. Disaster Response, based in Garden City, sent a team with gear from Idaho to aid in rebuilding and repairing homes.

More than 100 Idaho firefighters will deploy to California to help protect wildfire-threatened communities as deadly, highly destructive blazes rage in the Los Angeles area, according to a news release.
