CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A worker at Charlotte Douglas International Airport tragically lost his life in an airline ramp vehicle crash on Monday, the airport confirms. The incident happened just before 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 27. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police reports the worker was struck by an AA Tug PS234 on the ramp at Gate B12.
