In addition to the warmth, severe storms will be possible overnight  Saturday night, Sunday night and Monday afternoon and evening. It was a hot and humid Saturday. Highs reached into the low 90s with a heat index hitting 100°.

Sunday is projected to be similarly hot and bright before the return of strong storms, this time more widespread. Almost all of North Texas is forecast to see overnight thunderstorms, with western counties facing the biggest threats for hail and damaging winds.

North and Northeastern storms are possible in North Texas Saturday night into Sunday. Sunday, the heat index will near 105 degrees. Sunday night, stay weather aware as a squall line is expected to rake over all of North Texas,
