U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents conducted an operation in San Jose on Sunday, leading to a Colombian national being picked up, city officials confirmed.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are in San Jose conducting an operation on Sunday, Mayor Matt Mahan’s office confirmed in a statement sent to KRON4. The San Jose Police Department was notified that ICE agents were in the city.

ICE agents were spotted in San Jose for two consecutive days, following President Trump's promise of ramped-up immigration enforcement. The community defense group Rapid Response Network began tracking ICE agents in San Jose after receiving a tip about their presence.
