Mike Bianco and the Ole Miss Rebels are positioned well heading into the NCAA Tournament after an impressive run in the SEC Tournament this week in Hoover (Ala.

The Rebels (40-19) were announced as one of 16 NCAA tournament regional hosts on May 25 by the NCAA. It is the first time Ole Miss has been a regional host since 2021. Ole Miss' national seed and the entire bracket and pairings will be released during the selection show on May 26 (11 a.m., ESPN2)

Vanderbilt baseball won its second SEC tournament title in three years with a 3-2 victory over Ole Miss at the Hoover Met on May 25. No. 4 seed Vanderbilt (42-16) took an early lead in the first inning on a two-run Brodie Johnston home run and added on another run in the fifth on a solo home run by Jacob Humphrey.
