Nick Taylor, the defending WM Phoenix Open champion, has a career plan he said he wants to execute when he's done golfing: get into coaching.

It may be a stressful way to win a golf tournament, but Nick Taylor has embraced becoming the PGA Tour’s “Mr. Playoff.” Taylor won the Sony Open in Hawaii in a playoff last month, and he’s returning to the site of another extra-holes victory when he defends at the WM Phoenix Open this week in Scottsdale, Ariz.

There is nothing Nick Taylor wanted to do more than represent his home country at the Presidents Cup last fall. He had never played for the International Team before, so playing for Mike Weir at Royal Montreal would have been a dream come true.
