Naya Rivera's ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, has revealed their son is following in his mother's musical footsteps five years after her tragic death. On Wednesday, February 19, the 41-year-old appeared on Good Morning America to talk about the Glee alum's death and how he and his son Josey are coping.

Four months after Rivera’s death, Dorsey filed a wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of his son against Ventura County and Lake Piru’s management. The suit was settled in 2022. He told People that it was “too hard” for him to talk about Rivera’s passing at length over the last four and a half years.

Dorsey also shared what the 9-year-old remembers from the 33-year-old “Glee” alum’s “last moments” before she drowned in California’s Lake Piru in 2020.
