CLEVELAND, Ohio — Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski is turning to a familiar face to fill one of the most important roles on his coaching staff. Christian Jones will be the new tight ends coach, a source confirmed for cleveland.com.

The Browns are hiring Christian Jones as their next tight ends coach, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. Jones spent the 2024 season as the Giants assistant quarterbacks coach and will now reunite with Kevin Stefanski in Cleveland.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski will reassume playcalling duties next season after relinquishing them midway through the 2024 campaign.

Stefanski called plays for his first four years with the Browns before making ex-OC Ken Dorsey the play caller late in the 2024 season.

Kevin Stefanski relinquished play-calling duties last season, doing so despite having claimed two Coach of the Year honors this decade. With Tommy Rees moving into the OC role in Cleveland, the decorated HC is returning to familiar territory.
