Jannik Sinner is currently serving his three-month suspension from the professional tour after reaching an agreement with WADA, a solution that has generated a very impressive debate even outside the tennis world.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport was set to hear the case in April, but on February 15, WADA announced Sinner had accepted a three-month suspension to settle the case. Since then, Sinner has been unable to compete in or attend any official tournament. He also cannot train at clubs or facilities affiliated with a tennis federation.

Last Saturday, it was announced that the world's best player, Jannik Sinner, had negotiated a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) over offences committed last March, and would be banned for just three months.

Jannik Sinner has accepted a three-month ban after WADA concluded the Italian did not intend to cheat. Sinner's innocence appears less important than the process.
