A West Texas first-term congressman is calling for Minnesota congresswoman Ilhan Omar's deportation back to Somalia. On Tuesday, U.S. Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) wrote on X: "America would be a better place if [Omar] were deported back to Somalia.

GOP Rep. Brandon Gill of Texas called for Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota to be deported after a clip of her surfaced advising illegal immigrants how to not cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The first-term North Texas Congressman made the inflammatory comments in response to a video of Omar hosting a series of immigration-related workshops.
