Ashley Elkins left her Warren home Jan. 2 to run errands. Her car was found in Roseville; dumpster, evidence taken from ex-boyfriend's apartment complex.

Roseville and Warren police executed a search warrant at the home of Elkins' ex-boyfriend at the Hampton Court Apartments on Tuesday night. "Significant evidence," including forensics, was recovered and will be analyzed by the Michigan State Police Police.

Police say foul play is suspected in the disappearance of a Birmingham man, and they are searching for a person of interest. Gerard A. Johns, 40, lives and works in Crestwood. He was reported missing in mid-December and at that time had not been seen by family for weeks.

MASON CITY, Iowa (KIMT) - A death investigation is underway in Mason City after a body was found inside a target on Sunday. MCPD says officers responded to Target at 6:37 a.m. for a medical call. A deceased male was discovered when police arrived on the scene. The department says the death appears to be accidental and no foul play is suspected.
