Federal agencies have been directed to compile a list of DEI offices and workers and develop a reduction-in-force plan against those federal workers.

The Trump administration is ordering all federal employees in diversity, equity and inclusion roles placed on paid leave by Wednesday evening, according to a new memo from the Office of Personnel Management.

Agencies removed some webpages on diversity, and paid leave for employees who work on DEI programs was to take effect by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
